Guy Gecht took over as Interim CEO of Logitech International on June 13, 2023, after Bracken Darrell stepped down. Before joining Logitech, Gecht had a strong record in tech, having led Electronics for Imaging for nearly two decades. With a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Ben Gurion University, he combines technical knowledge with management experience. Gecht is heavily involved with Logitech’s strategies, having been part of the board since 2019, and even chaired the Technology and Innovation Committee. He co-founded E.Merge Technology Acquisition Corp., which shows he knows the business landscape well. In 2023, he earned more than $1.1 million in compensation, mostly from a salary and a strong performance-based bonus, reflecting how seriously he takes getting results. Gecht is also experienced in stock trading, with substantial transactions during his time at EFI and Logitech, indicating a keen eye for market movements. He’s clearly positioned to drive Logitech forward during a crucial time as the company faces changing technology needs.
