Peter S. Ho has been the CEO of Bank of Hawaii Corporation since July 30, 2010, following a notable leadership transition. He previously served as the President of the company, starting in April 2008, and was involved with various roles in banking since joining the Bank of Hawaii in 1993. Under his leadership, the bank earned recognition as one of America’s best banks by Forbes for five consecutive years. Peter holds a strong reputation through his involvement in the community and has served on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Additionally, he played a key role as the Chairman of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation 2011 Hawaii Host Committee.
