William Greenberg is the President and CEO of Two Harbors Investment Corp., a role he started in June 2020. Before that, he played key roles at the company since 2012, focusing on investment strategies. His background is impressive; he holds a B.S. in physics from MIT and has both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear physics from the University of Washington. With more than 25 years of experience in managing financial portfolios, he has a strong history in structured finance assets. William worked at UBS AG, managing huge amounts of risk, including overseeing mortgage repurchase liability for over $100 billion in RMBS and whole loans. Plus, he co-managed a $40 billion fund for the Swiss National Bank. In 2021, he also took on the role of Chief Investment Officer, adding to his responsibilities.
